TARGET SYSTEMS
Spinner System
In usual TAKE AIM Target fashion, the TA Spinner was designed to be shootable with a 9mm handgun up to a large caliber rifle. Target sizes and thicknesses can quickly be changed depending on your shooting needs. Our design allows the targets to spin a full 360 deg. in 6 shots with a 9mm 115 gr. round, if you don’t miss.
Comstock Star With 3/8” x 8” Targets
The Comstock Star is like other stars only because it has 5 arms with 5 targets. Our innovative design allows for versatility. One of the arms is shorter than the other 4. This creates an out-of-balance condition. To initialize the use of the Comstock Star, position the short arm in the 4 o’clock position, then engage the 8” trigger target which is pinned into a notch in the flywheel. The first shot is at the trigger target, when it releases, the arm/ target assemble begins to rotate, then the 5 targets are shot off. This was designed as a 6-shot star, but can also be utilized as a traditional 5-star system.
Plate Rack System With 2 - 8” Round Targets
Our innovative plate rack is constructed to be mounted to 2x4 offering versatility and adaptability. Each unit can be handled by one person and can be adjusted to suit any shooter’s scenario. Our plate rack can be used as a single two-target rack or bolted together to make a traditional six-plate rack on 14” centers. Targets are simply reset by pulling the rope. Sealed pillow block bearings eliminate any binding insuring a smooth operation.
Segmented Crossbar
The Segmented Crossbar is an assembly that allows the user to hang 3 additional steel targets from the vertical lath mounted in the base. The assembly includes 2 tubular crosses and 3 target hangers. By placing the crosses over the vertical lath mounted in the base, a third lath can be inserted horizontally to attach the 3 target hangers. Our Segmented Crossbar allows the user additional versatility to use paper targets and steel targets with one shooting platform. A Take Aim 29” crossbar, purchased separately, can replace the paper target for even more options.
Segmented Dueling Tree
The Dueling Tree mounts into our 29” deluxe base or onto any 2x4. It is comprised of 6 targets that rotate 180 degrees each time they are shot. Use this for training, drills, or competition. We offer the segmented version in order to provide more shooting options. Bolt the segmented version together to create a standard dueling tree.
Self-Resetting Target System
Our innovative self-resetting target system allows users flexibility not seen in any other target system on the market today. By simply changing the target size or thickness and adjusting the weights, you can take this system from a handgun to a rifle system in just moments. Built to be used on any of our target bases.
T-Post Target Mount
The T-Post Target Mount Crossbar is an inexpensive, compact device that will provide the user the ability to quickly display multiple targets anywhere t-post fencing posts are found. The T-post mount crossbar allows the user the ability to hang 2 steel targets from the bottom and mount a paper target to the top. An anti-rotational notch on the mounting sleeve keeps the crossbar in place on the T-post. A perfect choice for hunters wanting to confirm zero in camp.
Transformer Style Popper Base With 28” Mini Pepper Popper
A more compact version of our popper base that has removable legs for easy storage and transport. Shoot the knockdown target or pin the target to the stand in the upright position for static shooting. The popper can also be pinned down for ease of transport. Additional target sizes and shapes are available.
